Prioritize Blood Howl and Hurricane for more DPS uptime. Wind Shear is a Basic skill generator that provides a bonus if it hits more than one enemy. Hurricane provides a small Spirit boost every time it Critically Strikes or CCs and is more powerful at higher density. Blood Howl is a quick burst with a cooldown. There are two different strategies depending on whether you have a well rolled Aspect of the Umbral:Įarly Endgame (Low rolled Umbral) - We need to utilize Wind Shear, Blood Howl and Hurricane to generate spirit. However, when we're fighting a single target or out of Grizzly Rage Spirit will be harder to maintain. ![]() Thanks to Dire Wolf's Aspect on our Amulet and Lust for Carnage, we can spam Lightning Storm whenever we're in Grizzly Rage and are hitting more than one enemy. Managing your Resources and Cooldowns is crucial to the success of this build. Advanced: If an enemy hits hard, use Blood Howl to recover from large hits.If you find yourself in a tough situation with too many enemies nearby and you can't Evade your way out, use Cyclone Armor to Knockback and Slow the enemies, buying yourself an escape route. You won't have Unstoppable when you're out of Grizzly Rage! If Grizzly Rage falls off and the Cooldown is not reset, continue to engage enemies when possible, using Wind Shear and Blood Howl to regen Spirit, but avoid getting close to enemies with hard CC. Maintain maximum uptime on Grizzly Rage by staying close when possible to get more procs of Calm Before the Storm. Use Hurricane on Cooldown in a fight or right before engaging high density packs. When possible, use Cyclone Armor when you're at nearly full Spirit and Blood Howl when you're lower to keep you topped off. During the fight, rotate between using Blood Howl and Cyclone Armor to keep Vigilance up.Once it's sufficiently large, manually click quickly to increase the speed at which you cast (Manual clicking has a higher cast speed than holding down). Hold down Lightning Storm while targeting enemies to build up the size of the storm.Activate Hurricane and Grizzly Rage just before entering the fight.Caged Heart of the Dark Dance - At first glance this looks like a perfect fit, but the 5 second activation time is way too high to get much benefit from our high-octane playstyle. It's hard to justify this in a build that uses Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast. Caged Heart of Tempting Fate - This looks good at first, but the Critical Strike Damage is additive, while the downside is multiplicative.Caged Heart of the Unconstrained Beast - In testing this seems very unreliable. If you're doing content where you aren't threatened, you can swap this in for Prudent Heart/ Picana Caged Heart of Inexorable Force - This is a solid Heart for clear but it takes away one of our greatest advantages: Our ability to deal damage from range.Caged Heart of the Prudent Heart or Caged Heart of the Picana- Take the former for Hardcore or Pushing, take the latter for Speedfarming/leveling.Caged Heart of Revenge - Free 20% Damage Reduction is hard to ignore. That makes this a great option for Speedfarming, as it kills packs quickly through chain exploisions, while also being a sizable Single Target damage boost. The perceived downside of having to wait for the damage to apply is moot, since applying more damage than the enemy has HP will cause them to instantly explode. ![]() Caged Heart of The Barber - After testing, this Heart pulls out as the clear damage winner. With this in mind, let's look at the top 3 best Caged Hearts (and alternatives) for this build: Best-in-Slot Caged Hearts
